Acupuncture

Acupuncture was developed in China over two thousand years ago. Today, it is one of the top complementary health therapies utilized in the United States. Acupuncture uses very thin filiform needles to treat a variety of conditions from muscular skeletal pain and tension, to internal conditions such as GERD, IBS, insomnia, respiratory issues, headaches, depression, anxiety, and so much more.

Darcie is trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine style of acupuncture and a Japanese style of acupuncture called Kiiko Matsumoto Style (KMS).  This school of acupuncture uses a palpatory diagnostic methods that offers instant feedback to the practitioner and the patient to determine if the points selected are working. Specific active reflexes suggest the diagnosis and the treatment points are confirmed by the response from the body.  This style uses the thinnest needles and shallow needling technique to provide minimal discomfort to the patient.
